Myths & Magic
(Ages 11-14)
Dates: June 10th – June 14th
Times: 9am-3pm (Extended Care is also offered 8am-9am & 3pm-4pm, $10/hr)
Fee: $185/week.
Directed by professional theatre educators from Southern Shakespeare and Theatre TCC, Myths and Magic will create a world of mystery and excitement for our campers, bringing Shakespeare and his works to life and proving he’s more than just an old dead guy. Campers will work with language, performance, movement, stage combat, backstage elements, and games to explore all things theatre.
As our theme this year is Myths and Magic, activities will include working and learning about the magical and supernatural elements and characters in Shakespeare’s plays. Scene & monologue work and backstage fun will cultivate in a performance presented on the state-of-the-art Turner Auditorium stage.
Outside activities, drama games, water battles, mock sword fighting, arts & crafts, tech tours of the TCC facilities, and much more awaits your magical camper. We have lots of fun planned with a Harry Potter day and more! Join us!!
Much Ado about Fun
(Ages 7-10)
Dates: June 17th – June 21st

Southern Shakespeare Company and Tallahassee Community College bring you Much Ado About Fun, our most exciting and interactive camp yet!
Through imagination, creativity, and freedom to dream, campers will discover the excitement of theatre and play the on the beautiful TCC campus, enjoying summer with a big focus on FUN! Your child will also experience many outside activities, including drama games, water battles, and mock sword fighting.
Theatre will come to life through games and activities cultivating in a performance where your young artist will showcase what they learned and created during the week.
We will explore all things theatre and fun. Camp will include exclusive tours of the backstage facilities of Theatre TCC!, including costumes, lights, and sound. We will have fun with make-up, movement, and arts & crafts, to name a few!
We cannot wait to explore, play, and learn with our campers again this year!
